Jackson's Track was built in 1992 for Jim's sons to ride. As the kids grew and got faster the track also grew to become more challenging.
In the late 90's many pro riders, like Doug Henry and John Dowd, frequented the track to practice before Unadilla and Broome Tioga.
Doug Henry told Jim that the track wasn't actually a motocross track since you couldn't get into 5th gear riding it. They walked the track and made a plan to reroute it through the woods that make it into the MX track it is today.
